With nearly fifteen years’ experience of in-house and freelance consumer media, press and public affairs in Brussels, Westminster and Holyrood, as well as a teaching stint in Aberdeen’s International Relations and Politics department, Sarah’s skills run the gamut of PR including media relations, event management, copywriting, advertising and awards applications.
She has provided PR and political relations for clients working in food and drink, tourism, lifestyle, gardening, agriculture and charities.
A former in-house magazine editor, Sarah can write a killer briefing or press release, distil complex concepts and situations into plain English and calmly handle crisis situations. She is creative, tenacious and friendly, with a good eye for a story, a knack for writing engaging copy and good research skills.
As well as having an unshakeable sense of humour, Sarah’s interests include current affairs, comedy, cooking and gardening. Having a fifteen-month old boy, she is surprisingly good at Duplo and farm animal impressions.
